The rehabilitation and re-construction of the historic Holy Kellion of St. Procopios requires great effort and financial resources. With the financial support of many faithful believers, the monastery is now continuously being revived since it was inhabited again starting in year 2014. However, much remains to be accomplished. With the generous support of the faithful, we hope to preserve this valuable historic site and provide a space for spiritual retreat for those who seek to experience closeness to God and redeem their salvation.
Following are immediate initiatives that the monastery is pursuing to get accomplished. Your financial contribution to any of these causes directly impacts the monastery’s mission to cater to faithful from all diverse backgrounds and enable them to experience the holiness of life on Holy Mount Athos.
- Guest House Stone Roofing – Estimated total project cost: Euro 50,000
This roof installation is essential to protect the building from fire hazards and weather elements. In addition, the roofing structure shall adhere to the archaeological standards required for the rehabilitation of historical structures in the area. - The restoration of the monastic quarter lower level: The restoration involves rehabilitating the basement of the monastic quarters and restoring the walls and flooring of two main rooms.
- The restoration of the old wine fermentation section
- Olive Groves project – Estimated initial project cost: Euro 30,000: This entails cleaning up the surrounding forest and monastery grounds by removing wild trees while keeping the olive trees and maintaining the olive groves.
- Reinforcement Wall project – Estimated total project cost: Euro 20,000: A 30-meter long reinforement wall is required to support the monastery grounds and prevent erosion during winter season.
- Monastery Garden project: This entails improving the surrounding grounds and restoring the garden of the monastery.

Τρόποι για να υποστηρίξετε το Κελί του Αγίου Προκοπίου
Η αποκατάσταση και ανακατασκευή του ιστορικού Κελιού του Αγίου Προκοπίου απαιτεί μεγάλη προσπάθεια και οικονομικούς πόρους. Με την οικονομική υποστήριξη πολλών ευσεβών πιστών, το μοναστήρι καταφέρνει να ανακαινίζεται από το έτος 2014. Ωστόσο, πρέπει να γίνουν πολλά ακόμη.
